We transformed this existing lower level from its cabin theme with very basic finishes into an elegant, sleek and simple design with high-end features.
The knotty pine, sponge paint, and dead animals on the walls were all removed to make room for this new family to remodel this lower level to fit their lifestyle. This family has two small children, so storage and open space to play were important. New bookcases display toys and kid’s artwork with cabinets below providing out-of-sight storage space.
A multitude of high-end finishes are incorporated throughout the space. The linear fireplace is topped with a Samsung Frame TV, allowing a picture to be displayed when not in use. A Control 4 tablet controls the lighting, TV, fireplace, and even the exterior cameras so you can see who’s at the door.
The bar area received a makeover as well with a Cambria waterfall countertop and backsplashes, Rift-Sawn White Oak cabinets and vertical accents, Cove’s new dishwasher, a full-sized fridge/freezer, kegerator, and even a popcorn machine for movie nights!
The bedrooms and bathroom were updated as well following the same style and we’re delighted with the result!
