This screen porch addition was designed to not only add an outdoor space for entertainment, but also seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces. The old deck was falling apart and was removed to make room for this spacious 20’ x 24 screened porch.
Outside, the focal point is the wide-expanse screens boasting an impressive 20’ wide by 8’ tall expanse. Inside, the massive 16’ wide multi-slide door opens to join the interior and exterior spaces. It’s even automated, so opening/closing it is as easy as the push of a button. The wood ceiling and led crown details run right through the wall creating a uniform look and connecting the rooms.
We didn’t stop there though as the landscaping was completely updated with stamped concrete walkways, and a captivating water feature to top off this outdoor oasis.
While this space is impressive, this project is actually on another level as the area below it was fully excavated to accommodate a future home theater and a gym/yoga room. Those spaces will be part of a future project though. Until then, we’re thrilled with how this addition turned out!
