For years, Mike Howe Builders had its eye on a prime property, keenly aware of the pressing need for housing in Manitowoc and the absence of new subdivisions for over a decade. The Preserve at Lincoln Park Subdivision transformed a vacant property into an affordable and vibrant community. We collaborated closely with city officials to navigate the intricacies of zoning regulations and land development, including stormwater management, lot size and setbacks, and the acquisition of additional land. Leveraging our expertise, we proposed a Homeowners Association (HOA) with a Planned Unit Development (PUD) model, which allowed for flexibility in design while ensuring cohesive neighborhood planning. The development features new streets and sidewalks, enhancing accessibility and connectivity within the neighborhood, which also revitalized the area, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Central to the success of the project are the six customizable floor plans offered to prospective homeowners. From cozy bungalows to spacious family homes, these designs cater to a range of preferences and lifestyles.
