This 3,300 square foot Northwoods home was built on a unique lake lot in Vilas County. The owner’s goal was to build a custom vacation home in a prime location that provided space for families to enjoy Northwoods lake life. To accomplish the owner’s vision was somewhat of a design challenge as the lot is bordered not only by the lake, but also wetland area, which attributed to the smaller footprint and taller design to achieve the desired square footage of the home. The main level of the home features an open kitchen, dining and great room area as well as the master suite with a luxurious bathroom. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are located in the loft. The lower level features a wet bar, rec room, two bedrooms and a bathroom.
Many rustic features are found throughout the home, including a basswood vaulted ceiling, knotty pine accent walls and ceilings, and an impressive timber staircase with catwalk to the loft area. Large windows and a large lakeside deck provide breathtaking lake and forest views.
