Based in southeastern Wisconsin, our team specializes in custom homes, renovations and personalized project management, bringing our clients’ visions to life by creating bespoke spaces where lasting memories are made.
This two-story guest suite was added seamlessly to the existing home, incorporating curated matching exterior materials and features such as custom-run fascia and corners with clear vertical grain cedar siding. The brick was hand-sourced to match exact dimensions and coursing of the existing homes facade. Custom features were added, including the box window treatments that picture frame the Marvin French Casement Windows to capture the pond views. An eyebrow roof was constructed over the overhead door, complete with handmade corbels to welcome you home. A decorative roof railing system was carefully designed and built for added interest and tied the existing and new roof areas together with purpose.
Inside, we flow from an existing family room into the new guest suite bedroom, with an elevated tray ceiling with moldings and custom built-in cabinetry in every direction- stepping through double flanking eight-foot-high pocket doors to the study with views to nature. Marvin windows cast natural light throughout the spaces. An abundance of custom architectural woodwork gives a nod to the home's existing spaces. Beams and paneled walls in the study along with custom backlit bookcases adorn this room including your own coffee bar. The dressing room boasts quartzite countertops and built-up crown moldings throughout. Wide plank white oak flooring runs through the spaces until you enter the bathroom and wet room, where heated marble patterned tile floors begin. There is a Bain Ultra bathtub in the wet room across from the large zero clearance walk-in shower filled with marble including shower jambs and custom niches as well as multiple Waterworks shower components.
A double vanity with toe space night lighting and recessed custom stone splashes anchor the custom mirror frames. A hidden touch latch linen closet compliments the space with a little hidden whimsy. A spacious water closet room was created. No detail was overlooked.
This addition doesn’t stop here- we also built out the lower level with a new single-car garage, heat, and epoxy floors along with full millwork install to finish the space. Several closets were added to help create a seamless transition from the existing recreation room to the new spaces. We have added an additional guest bedroom suite with a steam shower and custom sauna with a backlit Pink Himalayan salt wall.
Overall, we checked all the clients’ boxes and added additional living space as well as two new bedroom suites with amenities anyone could love. All this wrapped in custom woodwork and cabinetry. We married old and new with timeless design and continuity that appears to have been there forever.
