This project showcases a complete kitchen transformation, converting a dated and enclosed layout into a bright, open-concept space designed for modern living. The original kitchen was limited by heavy cabinetry, restricted workspace, and inefficient flow, resulting in a space that felt closed off and underutilized.
The renovation reimagines the layout to improve functionality, circulation, and natural light. A large central island now anchors the space, providing expanded prep area, integrated seating, and a natural gathering point. Quartz countertops with soft, flowing veining add durability and visual elegance.
Full-height custom cabinetry maximizes storage while creating a clean, streamlined aesthetic. A custom range hood serves as a focal point, complemented by a herringbone tile backsplash that introduces texture without overwhelming the design. Brass hardware adds warmth and contrast, while matte black plumbing fixtures provide a modern edge.
The design achieves balance through contrast, pairing crisp white perimeter cabinetry with a darker island base. Updated lighting includes a statement fixture over the island and recessed ceiling lights, creating layered illumination throughout the space.
New flooring enhances continuity and reinforces the open feel, tying together the kitchen and adjacent areas. Every element was selected to support both form and function, resulting in a cohesive, highly efficient space.
This renovation successfully transforms an outdated kitchen into a refined, functional centerpiece of the home, highlighting thoughtful design, attention to detail, and quality craftsmanship.
