Description

The primary bathroom is designed as a quiet, spa-like retreat with an emphasis on restraint, proportion, and material continuity. Walls, trim, and millwork are fully color drenched in Sherwin-Williams Heron Plume, creating a soft, enveloping backdrop that allows the finishes to read as a cohesive whole rather than as individual elements.

Large format porcelain tile in a matte Indulge Onyx extends across the main floor and into the shower, establishing a seamless visual plane. In the shower, oversized Mirage Jolie slabs in a Washington finish are installed in a vertical stack, drawing the eye upward and giving the space a sense of height while introducing subtle movement. A recessed niche provides both function and a point of detail, finished in a herringbone glass mosaic that adds texture without disrupting the overall palette. Integrated shelving is kept minimal and intentional.

The curbless shower is designed with accessibility in mind, incorporating a linear drain and minimal glass enclosure to maintain an open, uninterrupted feel. Fixtures are consistently finished in champagne bronze, with selections from Delta’s Vero and Tetra collections used throughout. The warmer tone of the metal adds contrast while still sitting comfortably within the neutral scheme.

A freestanding soaking tub is positioned as a focal point, paired with a deck mounted Roman tub filler and hand shower for flexibility. The vanity maintains a clean, floating appearance and is topped with quartzite in a soft San Marco tone. Eased edges, an undermount sink, and a full height backsplash keep the detailing simple and refined while supporting long term durability.

Lighting is layered but understated, with a backlit mirror providing even task lighting and a soft ambient glow. The overall composition is intentionally calm and balanced, relying on scale, texture, and craftsmanship to carry the design rather than unnecessary embellishment.
